ノアの方舟から降りたアラビアオリックス 2017 mixed media (collage, sand, oil on canvas) M20 (72.7cm×50cm) I pasted the sand of Arabian desert which my grandfather gave me before. This is one reason why I choose Arabian oryx as a motif to use this sand for my artwork. I was inspired by the Old Testament (Genesis) and the artwork by Domenico Morelli (19c italian painter) and pasted it (Noah's ark) in Japanese on their horns. Please see more info in liked page.
